Stray Puppy and Kitten Adoption Event, Tbilisi, Bukia Garden, May 22, 2016

ბუკიას ბაღი- ღონისძიების რეკლამა 2-2Puppy and kitten adoption event will be held in Bukia Garden at 17:00, Sunday, May 22, 2016.  Event on Facebook.

The event will be held for adoption of pets from the shelter.

The first event of animal adoption was held in Bukia Garden on April 4, 2016 (World Stray Animal Day) –  http://gspsa.org.ge/worldstrayanimalday_postgeo/.

Puppies, kittens, young dogs and cats will be brought to the event from Tbilisi Municipal Shelter. The animals have all undergone respective veterinary service at the shelter. Registration certificates will be given to the new owners. The interested individuals will be consulted by the veterinarians, dog behavior specialists, representatives of animal protection organizations; informational leaflets will be distributed.

47 events had been held with the incentive of Municipal Service and GSPSA in 2013-2015. 266 puppies and kittens had been adopted. Events were cancelled due to the flood of June 14, which caused great loss. Now the events will be held in Bukia Garden famous in Georgia for community dogs and stray dogs taken care of.

Events of the program of stray animal adoption from the shelter will be held every Sunday.
