We would like to inform you that GSPSA's shelter dog named "Kartuli"(Georgian) is already in Switzerland with his new forever loving family.
On October 28, 2018, the GSPSA's Injured Dog Shelter received a dog found by Swiss tourists, Irina Zinkovski and Vladimir Zinkovski in Kutaisi. The dog was a victim of extreme cruelty, with a bullets from multiple firearms embedded in the subcutaneous and other soft tissues of the body.
Irina and Vladimir developed a special harmonious relationship with this dog, fell in love and decided to bring him to their family in Switzerland. They asked for help to GSPSA for assistance and dog prapering process. The dog was called "Qartuli"(Georgian).
Since arriving at the shelter, the rather lengthy and difficult process of preparation for the trip to Switzerland has begun, which has taken more than 10 months, but when the desire is high, all obstacles will be overcome.
"Qartuli" is a unique, very intelligent, funny, loyal and active dog. Despite the cruelties previously committed by humans, he is still well disposed to humans. On August 1, 2009, the long-awaited day came, Irina and Vladimir specially arrived for "Qartuli" to bring him to Switzerland with his long-awaited eternal family. He now lives in Geneva with his new four-legged and two-legged friends, has his own room, pool, and the most important part is a huge love affair.
We are so greatful for Irina and Vladimir Zinkowski who did everything for this dog. At the same time, they are the "remote owners" of our shelter dogs, and they also provide food and other supplies for shelter animals.
Huge thanks to them for their support.
