"Georgian Society for the Protection and Safety of Animals" unilaterally abolished the co-operation Memorandum with "Animal Rights Commitee"
In the beginning of February GSPSA was known that there was a new information in web-site of the English animal protection organization - Mayhew International on development of animals protection sphere in Georgia. It is important that foreigners are interested in current process in Georgia and display all information by any means. But in this case our displeasure were provoked of circumstances that are on the web-sitehttp://www.mayhewinternational.org/places/georgia/index.htmlof of Mayhew International about problems in Georgia and also you can read, that there is only one non-government organization in Georgia - Animal Rights Commitee which struggle for animal welfare.
It is obvious, foreign colleagues were erroneous informed by Animal Rights Committee (Chairman T. Chavchanidze). It is fact, the mentioned organization has sent the materials and photos placed in web-site of GSPSA for publication. This materials was quarried by Teimuraz Tsikoridze. ("to use information and photos placed on GSPSA's web-site, is obligation to notify its Author" - it is indicated in GSPSA's web-site), Also the informant has misinformed foreign organization, that there is only one non-government organization in Georgia - Animal Rights Committee which struggle for animal welfare, it is falsehood. Teimuraz Tsikoridze has sent official message to Mayhew International for clearing this matter.
As the Chairman of GSPSA - Teimuraz Tsikoridze supposes, Miss. Tinatin Chavchanidze often uses mentioned methods, but really, "Animal Rights Commitee" is not adduces animal welfare organization.
As GSPSA thinks, infraction of co-operation, partnership and ethic norms are often repeated from "Animal Rights Commitee".
On March 01, 2010 the Chairman of GSPSA - Teimuraz Tsikoridze unilaterally abolished the co-operation Memorandum formed on July 17, 2009 in Tbilisi, between non government organization " Dog Organization Georgia", "Georgian Society for the Protection and Safety of Animals" (GSPSA) and "Animal Rights Committee".
In the shortest time GSPSA and "Dog Organization Georgia" are going to conclude anew Memorandum on co-operation and partnership.
