Emergency and Urgent Situation Management Agency<\/a>, for the protection, safety and facilitation of the rights of animals in Tbilisi.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oldsite.gspsa.org.ge\/uploads\/attachments\/%E1%83%9B%E1%83%94%E1%83%9B%E1%83%9D%E1%83%A0%E1%83%90%E1%83%9C%E1%83%93%E1%83%A3%E1%83%9B%E1%83%98.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Memorandum\u00a0text\u00a0in Georgian<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gspsa.org.ge\/uploads\/attachments\/Memorandum%20April%204.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Translation in English<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is the first cooperation document between non-governmental sector and official authorities about the protection of animals in Georgia. It is an important step towards resolution and progress in stray animal population management in this country.<\/p>\n<p>Animal rights protection organizations jointly implement measures, work on different projects and collaborate with Tbilisi City Hall P.L.E. Agency on the issues of domestic and wild animal regulation : consultations regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/pages\/Tbilisi-City-Halls-Shelter-for-Animals\/339585242789619?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Tbilisi municipal shelter<\/a>, veterinary trainings, release of sterilized, marked and vaccinated animals, adoption of animals, veterinary services, activities for the rescue of stray animals, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Through official signing of this memorandum, Tbilisi municipality made a significant step towards the use of humane methods in stray animal population management.
