From April 2014, with the joint decision of Georgian Society for the Protection and Safety of Animals and the Department of domestic and wild animals in the control and regulation of the Emergency and Urgent Situations Management Agency of Tbilisi City Hall the \u201c Animals Adoption Event\u201d (dog, cat) resumed in Tbilisi Zoo.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0\u00a0Animals Adoption Program<\/a><\/p>\n

On April 6, 2014, the first event took place. There participated GSPSA - and Municipal officials, members and volunteers. The event \"Animals Adoption Program\" is important for animal welfare as well as In terms of raising \"\"consciousness among the population.<\/p>\n

In 2013, 23 events were held in the Zoo. There were adopted 137 homeless puppies and kittens (130 puppies, 7 kittens) from the shelter. Most of the animals were taken to animal lovers families.<\/p>\n

The first three events were held 6, 13, 19 in April 2014 and a total of 21 puppies were adopted. The event will be held regularly every Sunday from 12:00 am in Tbilisi Zoo.<\/p>\n

Animals Adoption Program is organized by:<\/p>\n

1. Georgian Society for the Protection and Safety of Animals \u2013 GSPSA;<\/p>\n

2. Tbilisi City Hall Emergency and Urgent Situations Management Agency (Department of domestic and wild animals in the control and regulation);<\/p>\n
